Dangerous Tik tok challenges

In recent years TikTok has been gaining popularity, it's rapid growth has made it the fastest growing social media platform. With that there has been a huge influx of dangerous challenges on the app which is primarily populated by teenagers and young adults. These challenges spread like wildfire, with user's seemingly oblivious to the dangers of such acts. All it takes is for one person to successfully go viral doing these challenges, and the rest follow in hopes of getting internet famous. The "Benadryl Challenge" is a prime  example. This challenge involves taking large amounts of the allergy medication for it's hallucinogenic qualities. The drug causes seizures, heart attacks and even strokes. Tik Tok has changed the music industry.

Since its implementation in 2018 Tik tok has taken the world by storm, as the new hip app to be admired. The app has changed the music industry as we know it, and has diversified the way in which artists can become successful. Tik tok has made it easier for music to reach larger audiences, more efficiently than any other app. Propelling songs further and further within the charts, all thanks to "Tiktokers" such as Adisson rae and Charli d'amelio, who make dances to songs on Tik tok that go viral such as Savage by Megan thee stallion and BeyoncĂ© or Say so by Doja cat. Both this songs have reached number 1 of the billboard hot 100. Most Famously Old town road by Lil nas x ft Billy ray cyrus which has become the most successful song ever, spending 17 weeks on the billboard chart.
